Pigs in a blanket

“Oooooh where is she?” Pinky whined, pressing her snout against the window.

“Where is who?” Aouzy said, sitting down next to her and rubbing his eyes.

“Natsumi, I'm sleeping over at her place after we go shopping!” She replied, bouncing up and down. “Maybe I'll buy you a dress.” She chuckled.

Natsumi was Pinky's best friend, they got along quite fast when they first met. Pinky having a huge crush on her might have helped with that. Today, she thought would be the day she gets her chance.

A black pig with blond hair, wearing an overall skirt, was walking up to their door. Aouzy poked his daydreaming cousin and pointed her out.

“She's here!” Pinky squealed, launching herself off the couch. “I'll be back tomorrow don't go in my room and make sure Lunar behaves BYE”.

She rushed out the door and ran smack into Natsumi. Natsumi helped her up and hugged her.

“Ohayou!”

“Um.. Konnichiwa?” Pinky mumbled

“That'll do, Pinky.” Natsumi smiled.

“Are you ready? I know I am!” She huffed, bouncing again.

“Let's go already!” Natsumi tugged on Pinky's arm.

Pinky smiled, going along with her. They ran to the nearest bus stop, which was just a wooden bench with a bus sign, their hooves clopping loud on the pavement. They got there early, seeing as the stop was just around the corner. Pinky wrapped her arm around Natsumi's neck and held her close.

“Oh um..” She stammered, hiding her neck.

“Oh sorry, was I hurting you?” Pinky said, jerking her arm back. “I wouldn't want my bestie getting hurt. Heh heh... She chuckled.

“It's okay, just don't do that again.”

Pinky turned her head away from Natsumi and stared at the boiling asphalt road. A tiny tear ran down her cheek. Pinky shook her head and wiped it away, she wasn't going to let that minor moment ruin her day.

“Ugh, this seat is roasting my butt.” Natsumi said, standing up. “I'm surprised you haven't been burned yet.”

“I guess a lot of people were sitting where I am” Pinky replied.

Pinky stared at Natsumi's butt, her tail was peeking out from under her skirt. She raised her hoof, struggling not to slap it.  She tugged on one of her drills to help her stop thinking about it. She jumped up, staring off into the distance.

“Are you okay, Pinky?” Natsumi glanced over at her.

“Hm? Oh, yeah. I guess I got kind of hot.”

“Well the bus is almost here so you won't have to wait long.”

Pinky drew in a deep breath and sighed. The bus roared down the street, screeching to a stop in front of the girls and covering them in smoke. Natsumi got on and payed for both fares. They sat at the very back with no one else around.

“So, anything you want to talk about on the ride there?” Natsumi turned her head to Pinky.

“I hung out with Mouse yesterday. She's pretty cool.”

“Oh, her! I see her everyday and yet we never talk to each other.”

“You should some time, she's totally cool.”

“Speaking of cool people, you should have seen what Satoshi got for my birthday.”

“Uhh, no I have no idea what'd he get you.”

Natsumi reached into her front pocket and pulled out a beanie. It was white with a red circle on the front, Natsumi wore it on her head and let Pinky check it out.

“Awww that's cute! And just in time for Autumn too.”

“Yeah, he's a real sweetie to me.” She felt the top of her head, running her hooves over a slit. She opened it and pulled an ear out of it. “Oh, he even made slits to put my ears through!” She smiled, pulling her other ear through a slit.

“Wouldn't that defeat the purpose? Your ears would get cold.” Pinky smirked.

“Huh, I guess so. Ah well, at least he was thoughtful. I bet I can still wear this in a fashionable way.” She took it off and put it back in her pocket. “I still love that art book you got me.”

“Glad you do! You still use it right?”

“Of course I do!” She hugged Pinky.” Your birthday is coming next week, anything you me to give you?”

Pinky thought for a moment. “A kiss..”

“A what?”

“Uhhhh A kriss. Yes! A Kriss Vector! Gotta keep the house safe from intruders! Heh heh..” Pinky blushed, twirling her drills.

“Pinky, I'm 16, I can't buy you a gun.”

“Oh, I was just joking, I don't need that.”

“Haha alright you kidder, what do you really want?” Natsumi chuckled.

“Just surprise me with something cute.”

“Alright!” She smiled.

Pinky sat back, satisfied on how she handled that slip up. Her chest still thumped and her stomach still twisted. “How am I going control myself today?” She thought.

“So what should we do while we go shopping?” Natsumi turned around, grasping Pinky's hooves.

“I figured we could maybe see a movie together.”

“Okay, what kind of movie?”

“Theres a scary movie playing now, I heard it's terrifying.”

“I'm not really into those kinds of movies but with you they probably won't seem so bad.”

Pinky wrapped her arm around Natsumi's neck. “Ah don't worry, I'll be there to protect ya!”

Natsumi giggled and turned her attention to the window. Trees where whizzing by, soon being long past and a large building came into view. She squealed, shaking Pinky and hopping up and down.

“We're here, we're here!”

“Alright calm down!” Pinky smirked, putting her hooves on Natsumi's shoulders.

The bus turned to the parking lot and screeched to a stop in front of the main doors. The doors opened and the smell of gasoline filled the bus. The girls got off and caught a whiff of fresh air as the bus pulled away. They waked together shoulder to shoulder pushing through the front doors. Pinky grinned from ear to ear, keeping her best friend close to her side.

“Where should we go first?” Pinky asked.

“Hmm, I was thinking we could go to-”

“The clothes store!” Pinky interrupted, dragging her friend to a store named Fitters.

“Okay, i was about to say Haul-Mart but we can go after.”

'Don't worry Natsumi, I know what I'm getting.” Pinky ran off deep into the store.

Natsumi sighed and stared at the ground. She dug her hoof in the floor and twisted it around, waiting for Pinky to come back. After a few impatient moments, Pinky appeared before Natsumi. She was wearing a dark pink overall skirt, just like Natsumi.

“What do you think?” Pinky turned, giving Natsumi a good look.

“Aww that looks cute on you!” She smiled.

“Thanks! Now we can look like twins.”

“Alright, off to haul-mart we go!”

The girls matched on to Haul-Mart, going deep into the mall. They passed the food court and Pinky's stomach rumbled. She looked at all the available food places, her mouth began to fill up, salivating at scents leaving the area.

They made it to Haul-Mart. Natsumi rushed inside, Pinky followed behind, heading for the electronics department.

“Why'd you rush over to electronics?” Pinky panted, catching her breath.

“I need a new phone! My old one is so cracked.”

“You know, maybe I could use a phone. One with a camera!”

“Okay, what about this one?” Natsumi asked, picking pink and black phone, “It's just like my old one.”

“Nice, I'll take it!”

“Awesome! It's cheap too.”

The girls head over to the counter to pay for their new phones. Pinky shook, turning her phone on the moment it was payed for. Natsumi giggled and received her new phone. Pinky jumped to Natsumi's shoulders and wrapped her arm around them. She held her phone up, facing them and snapped a picture.

They looked at it, smiled and nodded. “Where next?” Natsumi asked.

“Uh.. How about the food court? I'm starving.” Pinky rubbed her stomach.

“Already? Alright, let's go.”

The girls got out of Haul-Mart and Pinky made a break for the food court. Natsumi followed suit, she caught up to Pinky at a burger joint. She was hopping up and down, looking at the menu.

“Why do I always get the nuts?...” The ibex cashier mumbled to himself.

“Hi, I'd like a uh, a double pounder and my friend would like...”

“I'll just have a small fry, I'm not very hungry right now.” Natsumi smirked.

“Alright, that's $5.42.”

Pinky handed over the money, the ibex plopped a tray down in front of her and lugged over a burger that was bigger than her head. Natsumi's eyes widened at the massive burger, she reached her shaking hoof out and grabbed her small frys. They sat down at the table closest to the burger place. Pinky unwrapped her burger and dug in.

“Well aren't you a hungry piggy.” Natsumi giggled.

“Oh yeah, I haven't eaten anything since lunch yesterday. Lunar didn't leave anything for me during dinner.”

“Aw that's too bad. Don't worry though, I'm going to make a huge bowl of nachos when we get back to my place.”

“Ergh... Maybe you'll have to yourself if this doesn't go down well.. Heh heh...” Pinky munched, her burger was barely halfway finished. She burped and went to grab a paper bag. “I guess I'll save this for home..” She said as she scooped the burger into the bag.

“Hey, I think I'm going to get my hair done.” Natsumi said, getting up and throwing her box away.

“Oh cool! I'll come and watch, I don't want anyone to touch my hair though.”

Again, the girls were on their way through the mall. Natsumi entered a hair salon with Pinky. Pinky cringed at the smell of wet hair. Natsumi went up to the counter and whispered to the woman there. She nodded, and they glanced at Pinky, who waved back. She took Natsumi in, behind a wall on the other side and disappeared from Pinky's sight. Pinky stared at the wall, and then at a pile of books on the table next to her. They were only books about hair, but Pinky decided that it would have to do.

She flipped through the pages, seeing hairstyles which had little differences between them. Groaning, she put the book down and closed her eyes. Lucky for Pinky, she was a snorer, so she wouldn't have to be told to leave for annoying everyone.

“Pinky, hey Pinky, wake up!” Natsumi's voice called, “God, I didn't know I was in there so long.”

Pinky opened her eyes, Natsumi's blurry figure came into view and then saw her new hairstyle. The sides of her blond hair were now curly drills just like Pinky's.

“Oh my god that's amazing!” Pinky sprung up, her eyes were now wide open. “NOW, we look like twins!”

Natsumi glanced over at the back entrance of the mall. It was pitch black outside. “Oh crap, it's evening! We gotta catch the last bus.”

The girls sprinted through the mall which by now was almost empty. Natsumi could see the lights on the bus moving away, she screamed and kicked the front doors open. She ran up to the bus and started pounding on the doors. The driver opened the doors, looking at Natsumi in pity. She huffed and puffed, dropping the change into fare slot. Pinky got in, hacking in front of the whole bus and almost vomiting.

“Don't ever make me run like that again..”

Natsumi looked around, it seemed like the girls would have to stand, as all the seats were taken. They moved to the middle of the bus and held onto the poles near the second doors.

Natsumi sighed, “I'm sorry for how this day went so far..”

“Ah, it's alright Natsu! We still get to spend the night together.”

“Heh, yeah!” Natsumi smiled.

“What should we do when we get there?”

“We never got to see that movie, I guess we could watch one at my place!”

“That sounds cool. What are we going to watch? It's your house.”

“Eh, I'll see what I've got. I never watch them.”

They stood there, not saying another word for the rest of the ride. Natsumi didn't have anything else to say and Pinky didn't want to bother her. This didn't stop her from taking her new phone out and moving it behind her friend's butt.

SNAP

Natsumi's head turned like an owl. Pinky swiped her hand away as quick as she could, but Natsumi already caught her. Pinky's face turn beet red, she scrunched her snout and squinted.

“Pinky..” Natsumi whispered, not wanting to make a scene. “Were you taking pictures of my... bottom?”

“No, I wasn't! My hoof slipped!”

“I felt your arm move.”

“Seriously, you think I would do that?”

“You were the only one here, oh forget it. Maybe it was nothing.”

Pinky let out a sigh of relief and wiped her head. She bit her lip and swiped to the photo she took. “This feels so wrong but I don't care...” She thought, swooning over the photo. She crouched down and looked closer at it. Natsumi's tail swished in Pinky's face, getting her even more excited.

She was about to blow her lid, when the doors opened and she tumbled out onto her back.

“Oh Pinky, never stop being silly.” Natsumi giggled.

“For you? Sure!” She smiled and stuck her tongue out.

Natsumi reached her hoof out and helped her friend to her feet. Pinky wiped herself off, Natsumi got some dirt off of Pinky's back too.  The girls only had to walk a couple houses down to get to Natsumi's, there wasn't a word out of them on the way there.

The door swung open and they hurried inside. “Pinky, you go find a movie, I'll make the popcorn! DvDs are downstairs.”

They split up, Pinky rushed downstairs to the basement. She scouted the area, finding a big cardboard box far off in the room. She flicked the lights on and knelt in front of the box. There was a colourful variety of DvDs for her to rumage through. Pinky grabbed as much as she could and pulled them out of the box. She checked the backs to see what they were about.

Battle of Domination: Two rivalling factions go to war with each other only for glory.

“Not that one..”

Big Brother: A boy, after his parents have died, tries to cope with the loss while struggling to care of his younger siblings

Swine Flew: Two pigs are stranded on an island after a plane crash, sooner or later they get to know each other more personally.

“Perfect!”

She giggled and ran the movie up the stairs and into Natsumi's room. She shoved the DVD into the player and took off her clothes. Pinky jumped into Natsumi's bed, under the blankets. Natsumi came in with a large bowl of popcorn and set it on Pinky's lap.

“Hey, I hope you don't mind if I change into my bed clothes in here.” She said, opening her closet.

“Oh, that's fine, go ahead.”

Natsumi pulled her overall skirt up and squeezed her head through the hole. She bent over, pulling the skirt off of her. Pinky saw this, she couldn't keep her eyes off of her. She couldn't contain herself, she took out her phone, pointed it at Natsumi and snapped a photo.

“Hey! You were taking pictures of me!” Natsumi turned, grimacing at Pinky.

“No, no! I was just taking a uh.. selfie. Yeah, that's it.”

Natsumi sighed, “I sure hope so, that'd be gross.”

“Heh.. Yeah.. Why would I ever want to look at your butt..”

“Alright, so what movie are we watching?”

“It's about two pigs that get stranded on an island, I thought it'd be perfect for us.”

“Oooh this one! I've been meaning to watch it. It'll be even better watching it with you!” Natsumi squealed, putting on a white t-shirt.

She lifted the blankets and snuggled up to Pinky, something she had not expected. Pinky's face started turning red again. She scooted closer to Natsumi, almost touching heads. The movie then started, Pinky munched on handfuls of the popcorn while Natsumi took one at a time.

The movie starred two sows, a red one with short brown hair and a white one with blond curly hair. It started off with them boarding the plane together, to see their family. To Pinky's surprise, and disappointment, they turned out to be sisters who weren't fond of each other.

“They're sisters? Aww..”

“Hey, we're kinda like sisters.” Natsumi nudged her.

Pinky tried hard not to say they're not, the thought of being in love with a sibling grossed her out.

“Eh yeah...” She mumbled.

Later in the movie, the plane they were on crashed, stranding them both on an island. The two girls started off hating each other, but then began to like each other. The movie ends with them staying on the island.

“That was crap..” Pinky thought, “What did you think of the movie?”

“I loved it! What was your favourite part?”

“I liked the ending..”

“I liked that too! When they decide to stay on the island together instead of going home. Which doesn't make much sense.. but who cares? It was sweet.”

Pinky yawned, “Uuugh, I'm getting tired, we should do more stuff tomorrow.”

“Oh, sure, I'm kinda tired too.”

“G'night”

“Good night, Pinky..” Natsumi turned, turning off the lamp.

Pinky tried to sleep; she tossed and turned, took the blankets off and on, but she just couldn't go down for the night. At home, Pinky was used to hugging something to help her go to sleep. There was only one pillow and she didn't want to loose it. Pinky turned to Natsumi, and an idea came over her. She scooted closer to Natsumi, shoving one arm under her body and the other over. Pinky pulled herself closer and hugged Natsumi tight. Now this was more like it.

“Tomorrow is the day...” Pinky smiled, closing her eyes.

That morning, Pinky woke up on her back with her arms apart. She sat up in confusion, then she looked ahead to see Natsumi at the end of the bed. Pinky gulped and crawled up to her.

“Pinky.. are you really my friend?”

“Of course I am! Why would you even ask?”

“Because, you were acting so weird yesterday..”

“Ah, I'm always like that!”

“No, I mean you acted a bit perverted and attached to me.”

“Is this because I fell asleep holding you?”

“That, and I saw those pictures on your phone”

“Oh, but that couldn't possibly mean I..”

“Just tell me why you acted so strangely last night..”

“Okay I'll let it out.. I like you Natsumi, I mean I LIKE like you..” Pinky looked down.

“I knew you did all along.”

“You did?” Piny perked her head up

“Of course, how many other sows do you talk to? It's like I'm your only choice right now.”

“Oh... You're right...”

Natsumi sat beside her and put her hoof on her back. “Don't feel down, there plenty of girls out there for you.”

“Yeah, I know, plenty of fish in the sea. You just mean a lot to me, as a friend.”

“We can be friends for life Pinky, you're somebody that's important to me. Imagine we had a bad break up and never talked to each other again?”

“I guess you're right. I couldn't imagine living without you.” Pinky hugged Natsumi.

“Just don't act like that way to me again, alright?”

“Sure, anything to keep us friends.”

Natsumi smiled, “Great! Let's go have breakfast!”

“Oooh what are we having?”

“I decided to make those nachos since I never got to last night.”

“Sounds great!”

The girls head off to the kitchen, hoping the best for the new day.
